Full Screen for VM Running Ubuntu on HyperV 

Installed Ubuntu on HyperV

Screen Resolution of the monitor 2560 x 1440

VM Console does not come up in full screen

Tried setting the screen resolution in Grub, which didnt work.

Shutdown the VM and run the Power Shell command below.

set-VMVideo -vmname Ubuntu -HorizontalResolution:2560 -VerticalResolution:1440 -resolutiontype single

Started the VM and it came up in full screen on the monitor.
